The Value of Effective Programs

Modern executives prefer to hire graduates who can contribute to innovation in the workplace, solve complex problems and work within diverse teams. At Genesis, we create project-based learning opportunities for every age group that fuses academics with non-cognitive skill development so children can thrive in school, their communities, and, ultimately, the workforce.

Because today they may be kids. But tomorrow they will be our neighbors, co-workers, and even teach our own children. This is why what we do is important.

Emergency Shelter Services Overview

We provide a secure facility with 24-hour line-of-sight supervision, individualized treatment plans, Comprehensive Assessment and Planning System (CAPS) including:

Child & Family Assessment

We make our decisions by identifying, considering, and weighing all factors that impact children, youth, and their families.

m

Case Management

We have a collaborative process that assesses, plans, implements, coordinates, monitors, and evaluates what’s required to meet each youth’s needs.

Psychological Evaluation

Often the symptoms of a psychological disorder are obvious, but the cause of the problem is not always clear. Our job is to find it.

Behavior Monitoring

W monitor trends in health behavior among young people and plan, develop and implement appropriate policy and program responses to address their critical health needs.

We also have on-staff RN and LPN providing 24 hour care, staff qualified as Approved Medication Administrative Personnel (AMAP), staff trained in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI), certified in CPR/First Aid, supportive counseling, a progressive educational program administered in partnership with the Harrison County Board of Education, supervised visitation, and more!

He was always so zealous and honorable in fulfilling his compact with me, that he made me zealous and honorable in fulfilling mine with him. If he had shown indifference as a master, I have no doubt I should have returned the compliment as a pupil. He gave me no such excuse, and each of us did the other justice.
